Taxidermy by Cam is for the hunter, fisherman or naturalist that wants the highest quality of work without waiting years. I as a taxidermist would never give anyone a mount I wouldn't display on my own wall. I proudly display all customer work all over social media,conventions and public displays. With over 12 years experience you can trust that there isn't an obstacle I haven't come across to make your mount look great. I've worked all over the country for many different taxidermy shops with a wide range of animals and have picked up secrets and techniques and incorporate that into my customers mounts. Prices are subject to change this is just a reference . In today's age I will be hard to tell with the current administration any rapid price increases with plastic and petroleum products which I use in the line of work . Also turn around times could vary depending on availability of items .

If your head has maggots or smells horrendous YOU WILL BE CHARGED 100 dollars extra. It's unsafe and dangerous to be dealing with that. I do not want to get sick again. Treat your head and hide like a steak,you wouldn't let your steak sit in the garage for a week before you cooked it

Repairs on mounts 90 dollars an hour in shop

Repairs and clean up travel to customers 110 an hour 

Antler repair 28 dollars an inch 

Pedestals woodwork prices are determined by the woodcrafter but are extra. In general converting a mount to a pedestal adds 300 dollars for standard deer to the mount. However the wood is the wildcard and is the extra part they can range greatly 

African and exotic work is determined by many factors that need to be discussed in person or on the phone

Turnaround time is anywhere from 2-4 months depending on what it is . European mounts are much sooner .

In August of 2024 I competed in the world taxidermy championships in coralville Iowa an event that only occurs every two years. I won a second in the world title with a reproduction alligator. Along with a first place in the masters category. This is the highest level a taxidermist can compete at.
